Ring Holder
The last item I think is well-designed is the ring holder I bought at the British Museum. I really like that it is made of solid and heavy material, which makes it harder to tip over, unlike other ring holders I have seen and had in the past. It is designed to look like an elephant in yellow, orange and dark green blended colours that create a calm and warm feeling. This design also makes the ring holder a nice decoration for when I do not use it to stack my rings, as it is not just a plain and empty object but adds to the overall look and decor of my room.
The part that is used to hold the rings — “the trunk” — at first glance may not seem very functional but in my opinion, is as easy to use as any other ring holder. The curve to it creates a nice visual and does not hinder how easily the rings are stacked, but further, it prevents them from spilling all over the place if the holder is accidentally knocked over.
